Designing with small apartments are now trending in many places. These micro spaces are being built with professional minds that mostly being used in United States, Europe and many other countries for dormitories or flats for students and single person working in the city. There are some areas that we need to assess before we start buying furniture for small apartments

Furniture Choices - Choose a good two-seater and comfortable sofa, you can also a smaller version sectional sofa and place against the wall.

Wall - When choosing paint, choose something that may add brightness to the room. Dark colors tend to make the area looks smaller. A common way to make a small space look larger is to use lighter colors in general. Bright or sharp colors are also a suitable choice for smaller apartments especially when mixed with more muted tones.

Mirror: Using a mirror is a clever idea as it gives the illusion of space and add dimension to a room. It is best placed next to the wall in the room.

Hidden Storage: Others are using stairs as storage, a minimalist design that has been widely using at many apartments. When it comes to designing your small space and buying furniture, choose something which the design serves more than one purpose. This is fortunately an easy problem to resolve with a few well thought out decorating and furniture choices.
