There are many decorating styles should be considered the foundational or basic home decorating styles but what are the most common one nowadays? Still it depends if in which country you are but let us just narrow down to the three very basic home designs.

Traditional - Traditional is a mix of classic, timeless and well-defined elements. Though it evolves with trends, traditional brings together many worlds while still making you feels right at home. Calm colors, modest furniture with vintage lines, and emphasis on balance are all elements of the traditional decorating style.

Contemporary - Some contemporary interiors are one color or could be ultra-luxurious, but others are full of bright colors and funky patterns. Contemporary designs are mostly a combination of being artistic and which rooms usually contain an element of surprises. Common Contemporary home design promotes flexible living space and an abundance of natural light.

Eclectic – Eclectic designs are collections of elements gathered from different sources and put together. Mixing and matching elements from different styles is not as easy as you think. These are creative mix styles applied in home design, should be free and easy. A successful eclectic design is the ability to understand how it is possible for such a completely different variety of things to be mixed together however still remain one cohesive piece that remains consistent with the rest your furniture or home design style.
