Cleaning Your Leather Furniture





Leather sofas are luxurious however they are a practical addition to your home. These appealing leather furniture are very appealing that invites any user to sink into comfort and it adds a touch of elegance to your home décor. Harsh cleaners can easily ruin your leather furniture and using bleach products and ammonia-based cleaners should also be avoided, so choose good products. VACUUM - the vacuum can be your best friend when it comes to cleaning furniture. Making sure that it sucks the dirt out in every corner otherwise the dust and grime could be rubbed into the sofa when you wipe it with the cleaning solution. You can vacuum or dust your leather furniture often then you can polish it with a soft cloth to bring up the leather's natural shine.

MOISTURIZER, HOME MADE PRODUCTS OR WATER – When your furniture looks dry, buff it with soft cloth   to restore its shine. You can use leather cleaner, leather moisturizer or water. In using these commercial or homemade products, always test it in an inconspicuous area first to make sure you are satisfied with the results. Others may use a mixture of vinegar, extra virgin olive oil and drops of lemon.

REMOVING STAINS – Ink is a difficult stain to remove, but it is possible to lift small ink stains using a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover or use some effective ink removal products. You can use soft cloth and water in removing and cleaning with food or sprinkle some baking soda to get rid of food grains. In removing mold and mildew, you can combine rubbing alcohol and equal parts of water. 

For any regular days, you can simply wipe the sofa with a dry cloth or dust it off with a feather duster and turn and fluff the cushions on a regular basis to avoid wrinkles on them. Maintaining the elegance of your luxurious furniture is not that hard as long you know how to take care of them.
